Colonel John fell for a sweet pea.
Old, nearly blind, he couldn't see.
The bride turned yellow … ran away—
left but a splatter on his knee.
A long, little doggie, they said,
would help him get around, ahead.
The dog came free—he had no say—
legless dachshund, a rolling bed.
Though Bo's legs were gone, he could see
Colonel John was in misery.
Bo led the old man to the bay.
John mounted up, his shoes fell, flee.
Dismounting, grovels in gravel,
in the muck struck by a shovel,
an ambulance took John away.
His love heard, ran from the brothel.
The Colonel, creamed, oozed in a can.
His love seized fresh, green pods on hand,
let peas roll in, for'er to stay.
Peas and corn … HOT … needed a fan.
The fans came, vegetables, a mix,
together their problems they'd fix.
Dancing, singing, veggies play
till they were sealed, canned, a la Trix!
