Sauntered around lost, confusion abounds.
I feel the groveling of Hades' fire hounds
in the streets of chaos making their rounds.
Ebony flutters 'round me,
reeking creatures pound me plea
at the end of life's road.
Flickering flames lick and devour my flesh
in scenes the devil reels. He's doing his best!
Inside my heart I know it's but a test.
All life's sadness engulfs me--
they engorge on misery
at the end of life's road.
There are monsters of beasts, monsters of man
not all make efforts to better some fan
flames of indifference; some rape our land!
I've sinned but have repented,
made mistakes but relented
till the end of life's road.
Deafened by sounds of silence hovering,
I am slowly changing taking on wings.
I've no fear of these horrendous beings
who rarely give up a soul.
Heaven lifts me; it's my goal
