Old Age

Everyone ages. Why not laugh about the problems of growing old?

When old age crept upon me,
it marred my perfect skin.
Every organ went to pot,
notify my next-of-kin.
Daily memories fade away.
Where's the odor; what's that smell?
Growing old is a folly--
bloated tissues turn to get.
My legs ache, my knees won't bend,
double chins, wrinkles galore.
Living like this, I need 'Depends'.
My fanny drags on the floor,
eyes and ears are in a haze.
My back is out, kidneys spent.
False teeth are on the nightstand.
Oops!
Wonder where the yellow went . . .

cute write Sandy,
Excellent,
don't forget the constant pain in the joints the all of a sudden unableness to balance, a short trip or slip can be fatal to some, with brittle bones, and dont forget "I've fallen and can't get up....some age more gracefully then others....
