They don’t lie or falsely build our hopes
When I find my “Jack”, we will elope
Jackalope, I love your floppy ears.

I don’t care if his tail’s in arrears
He is my dream boat and my last hope
I mean to catch him with a rope
Jackalopes are fast but never mean
They treat their gals royal . . . like a queen
Their feelings are passionate and keen
Yes, Jacks have a lot above their ears
But remain loyal throughout the years
See them play . . . warm, nice and furry
Enjoying their lives . . . no worry
I envy their ears . . . must have a rabbit
My eye is on Jackalope Babbitt
I want to dance . . . to a hop
My admiration will ne’er stop
Jackalopes are wild but so am I
I want a ‘Jack’ so bad that I cry
