Imagine yourself as the Queen of Hearts in a deck of cards who is struck on the One-eyed Jack!
All the decks are stacked;
the one-eyed is decked
though it's him I've picked.
I am, gratefully, Queen of the pack.
I'm shuffled, cut, stacked, leader of the deck.
I'm angry, need to get it off my chest,
I don't like ev'rybody playing chess.
All the Jacks are riled
and they've gathered, piled,
to rampage, go wild--
knocking out your Pawns, Bishop, Castles, Knights.
Even One-eyed Jacks choose to fight for rights;
Go-fers march straight to seize chess' Queen--checkmate!
Then 'she' asked my One-eyed Jack for a date.
She was infusin'
crystal illusion . . .
causing temptation.
I called off the challenge, retrieved my Jack.
He stole my heart, then gave me 'the sack'.
He stole the Queen of chess, Pawns stole her back.
I stood with my pack and decked One-eyed Jack!
A heart can be played
and many have strayed . . .
be wise not dismayed.
