Suooiee, Suooiee, Suooiee

Everyone has a nickname; some aren't as nice as others.

Standing on the half-finished front porch,
Ma, cupping hands around her mouth,
would call me:
"Suooiee, Suooiee, Suooiee.
Come here Suooiee, Suooiee."

Everyone would stare but me, of course,
though Ma would often scream herself horse
calling me:
"Suooiee, Suooiee, Suooiee.
Come here Suooiee, Suooiee."

When folks told what my mamma said,
I would hang my head and turn quite red,
embarrassed:
"Suooiee, Suooiee, Suooiee.
Come here Suooiee, Suooiee."

You can take my middle name, Sue . . . please!
I don't like being called like hogs, pigs.
Mom would say:
"Suooiee, Suooiee, Suooiee.
Come here Suooiee, Suooiee."

Sandra is polished and rolls with ease
you can butter it up in degrees
than say this:
"Suooiee, Suooiee, Suooiee.
Come here Suooiee, Suooiee."

Perhaps I was Miss Piggy before
Jim Hensen made her one to adore.
Mom called me:
"Suooiee, Suooiee, Suooiee.
Come here Suooiee, Suooiee."

Considering I'm from Arkansas, where we take great pride in our University of Arkansas Razorbacks -- calling your name in such a manner would be a sign of respect here! HA! Cute write!
