Myrtle liked to doodle . . .
enter contests--drew poodles;
her dog's fur was light blue.
Prissy like to piddle--
sometimes oozed a puddle--
it's something all dogs do.

On canvas Prissy danced
(while Myrtle was romanced)
then Prissy had to pee
so suddenly she chanced
dangling from the valance--
streaming Myrtle's entry.

Myrtle won the first prize;
couldn't believe her eyes
when she saw her picture.
They said hers was the best
of a dog on a quest.
It was a disaster.

Myrtle felt a splatter.
(Prissy went; it scattered.)
How it happened was plain.
It takes two to doodle
winning 'pics' of poodles
on quests in pouring rain.

Myrtle bowed to oodles
of wet, bedazzled poodles . . .
due to Prissy's puddles.
