There’s a blossom in my garden
and purists swear it is a weed
but it’s beauty in perfection
the honest distraction I need
Queen Anne’s Lace so wild and free
I hear the dandelions roar
due to my Queen Anne’s addiction
not the neatest garden you’ve seen
but it’s serene beyond fiction
a class in color harmony
Junipers and sagebrush call home
all the acres that surround me
there are tumbleweeds and thistle
that I hoe down almost daily
intricate Anne you entrance me
