I posted this some years ago, and somehow it disappeared,
perhaps into cyberspace. With your indulgence, I post it again.

I dare to paint your
quintessential
face,
and in words reminiscent
of the poet
who eternally sings
for lovers,
I recall the violet which
shamelessly
stole its breath from
your lips.

ahhhhhhhhh
my kind of lyrical succinct passion.flower
the swoon of lilting beauty and feminine power.
how sta[men]s do re.act. . ..
bend and go sticky.
such a velvet violation of gentleness youve penned.
so purple and pure; pleasurable poetry
