Each year, near the end of February, I am overwhelmed by the grayness of winter, and my senses spring into action.

A Sense Of Spring Leaves I want to see leaves Oxygen oozing and swirling about Grass I want to feel grass Showing its strength...shoving its way out Birds I want to hear birds Chirping and calling their mates from afar Air I want to smell air Air that is clean from earth to the stars Life I want to taste life Life that is good...as good as can be These These are but some Some of my wishes for you and for me ©copyright 2016 By David Lee Thompson

As I am somewhat late in reviewing this poem longing for the energy of Springtime...
I am glad to say that you will be experiencing all of the above now a David....
Even the very thought of Nature in Springtime, lifts the Heart and the Spirits in the
Depths of Winter....

Don't worry. The redbud, forsythia, and azalea are coming very soon� Along with the green green grass sprouting up from the dead leaves.

I hate to make you envious. But yesterday I attended an outdoor rally and found, after about 30 minutes, I was getting a sunburn. The redbud here are in full bloom along with some blooming flowers that don't know we had winter because they weren't touched by frost this year.
