The Red Road glows in his presence:

stained glass prisms bleed the summer sun

of yellow, green and ruby onto his being.

At the center - standing inside depths unimagined,  

praying for pity, not from pride;

at the center - reaching through Seven Directions.

Aho.

Eagle feather wafts sage and cedar smoke ~

breathe soul-deep; rising voice, quickened drum 

draw us up in blessed union.

Tunkashila.

Seeing truths behind our blindness

~ encircled, encircling ~

Forgive our ignorance; accept our tears.
