Not meaning to be less than compassionate herein, just trying for a laugh, for the only way to live is to love and laugh...

“ Phobias “

Forever lost we seem to be,

In the amount of phobias there are to read,

So many in fact, it takes up a whole website,

Filling page after page, really is quite a fright,

We have so many, all of us here on this earth,

How can there be so many phobias?

Are there just enough for all of us each to have one?

But then again there are those that have more like some,

A whole bunch of phobias, I will show only slight,

As I wish to be at the very least, polite,

Beyond the slash is my own take on all of these so out of sight…

Rhypophobia- Fear of defecation, /can’t take a poop oh my what a coup,

Rectophobia- Fear of rectum, /another again, can’t get near their own poop, (someone else wipes?)

Samhainophobia: Fear of Halloween, /no trick or treating for this one,

Sciophobia Sciaphobia- Fear of shadows, /don’t go out in the sun and stay away from light,

Scriptophobia- Fear of writing in public, /all us writers better not contract this deadly disease,

Soceraphobia- Fear of parents-in-law, /no marriage in this persons future

Somniphobia- Fear of sleep, /awake all the time, sounds like it must be a crime,

Taphephobia Taphophobia- Fear of being buried alive or of cemeteries, /bet this happens a lot?

Teratophobia- Fear of bearing a deformed child, /definitely me, I always do worry about the child I bear,

Thalassophobia- Fear of the sea, /now this one is definitely sick, must live in the Midwest somewhere…

So herein find some of the more interesting ones above,

I do not make light these very serious blights,

I only do so herein to bring to light, what you may not know,

That these are very serious and very scary for those that are afflicted,

Not that many are, just a handful I am told,

If you don’t believe, I guess I did little to sell the fact, yes sold,

Did ya ever just feel so much like mold?

More phobias will you see in future,

As I use humor as a comedic suture,

Not as an insult to anyone that has the above,

All humor aside, the only way to deal with these is to show love…

I can recommend a good shrink for you before you, you know get all blocked up and sick.

Just drink some linseed oil, I garentee that will cure you, you wont have time to worry, trust me.
