Last line an addition since previous posting…”

For Debs challenge, although I do not think she meant it to be semi-humorous, but what can I do, it is the insanity of the moment forcing me to do this...

“Sand taunts the dome,”

From the beach I know as my home,

My head hairless shines like chrome,

My body white from winters lack of sun shone…

My head it be empty, yes a total void,

Sand does trickle in, faster as my ears cannot hold back the flow,

“As if trying to fill up infinite vacuum”…

Sorry, herein, I used more than two lines; have to say I have trouble following signs,

Hope this little poem has something to say, if not I will just go into my corner,

Become part of the paint, part of the wall, and fade away…

This last line, not an addition since previous posting, as no postings were an issue,

If after reading this,

You find you may need something to wipe the tears,

Available by the door a tissue,

Can be found indeed…

If your tears are for me, hold them back, as I am willing to admit,

My psychosis is more than you can visibly see,

Tearing at the inner vacuum of my mind, infinite you will recall,

Guess I will no longer continue this poem; no I won’t herein stall…

      "I am reading your poetry."

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
