Another roast, this time for Erin Moen, a friend I like best...

Poem Artwork

Erin Moen Boiling in the Arizona Sun…

Owned I would think, many a faucet,

For both bath and kitchen,

Ain’t that just really bitchin’?

An intellectual of sorts,

Writing and posting above MY head,

On her site and in her ports,

Many poems she has written,

Never yet has she bored or led us to be dead…

Four twenty the reason for her writing in season,

A strong following she has, yes that of a great legion,

She is a “bud” to all, there when needed, just call,

Never does she inordinately fall from grace,

She keeps up with her abilities at a quickened pace…

So Erin, my dear friend and fellow “head”,

I hope you have found this quasi-roast to feed you like bread,

As I have done so many times in the past, yes I have said,

This poet, this person, a friend at best,

I have tried not to hurt any feelings, I have tried not to tread,

On her abilities she has shown us, so many times we have read…

An intellectual of sorts,
Writing and posting above MY head,

I think your head's going to be sticking out of that sand in your picture there, Ed, as Erin sics the fire ants on you!

Now that would be quite a roast, as is this delightful one!
