Lets us all become young again,

Go back to the time when we were ten,

Throw snowballs at passing cars,

Water balloons off of a roof, onto girl’s heads,

Eggs get thrown too, but only on mischief night…

Let us dress up for Halloween as cowboys and princesses,

Allow us to become for one night, just about ten,

No worries of puberty, just yet,

No worries of girls or boys, or trying to get,

Just to enjoy our friendships, roughhousing with the girls and the boys,

Skinny dipping in the ocean and off of our docks on the bay,

Girls and boys alike, no worries about being shy,

Just jump on in, then someone taking our bathing suits,

Have to run all the way home, naked in our birthday suits…

Playing army, and navy and invading beaches,

Fighting off creatures of space, yes giant leeches,

Dreaming of the day we can drive our dads cars,

Till then riding our sting ray bikes, jumping tires in front of the bar…

Eating candy till we are sick, must have been something I ate, mom,

No I didn’t eat too much candy; maybe it was the fishing bait,

Just wanted to try it, to see if the fish would like it,

Of course I took it off the hook, do you think I am just a stupid kid?

Out on our boats, doing bat turns, like we are so fast,

Things like this, well they unfortunately just don’t last,

Taking our boats in the ocean, out twenty miles, to dive on the sub,

Baths by mom, cause dad does sometime to hard, rub,

Watching black and white TV, the Outer Limits so scary,

Laughing at Herman Munster, did you see he is so hairy?

All these things and more, growing up we did do,

Some friend’s from way back then, now they did die, never thought of that then,

We will live forever, we will never die, we can do what we want,

As long as Dad and Mom don’t find out,

If they do what’s one spanking gonna hurt?

We will do it again, and again, someday we may get our “just dessert”…
