The Heavens Did Open…

Like a sluice gate in a dam,

It hit us with the force of a charging ram,

The sound it did make much like that of wham,

The rain it did come down, pretty funny if it went up, what a sham…

No wind it does seem, just the hard pounding rain, why do some call it heavy?

How can rain be heavy, even if it were to be released from a levy,

Cleaning away again the world of man, seems he needs a lot this season,

And here I thought I was the only one that did need a shower, but for no reason…

Rufuz needs a walk, but do I want to go out and get soaked,

Maybe just open the door and let him out, no not a joke,

He just stands there and looks at me, like “no way dad, you go first!”

The damn pain in the ass, he wants out, but I have to go too,

Its not like I have to hold it for him or wipe his butt,

He is a dog, he can do for himself, probably just wants me to see,

How big his turd is, what a big pain in the butt he is sometimes to me…
