A Tribute to the Many Poets of AuthorsDen I do Love and Respect…

If it isn’t that Lanechanger guy,

Then it is that Bonilla fella,

Both of which do make me take cold showers,

At the very least I, of late, do smell more of fragrant flowers…

Then there are those women of the den,

They write so much better I think than of most men,

The comedy of Anna Marie and Katy,

The murderous nature of Kate Clifford,

Or the special “time” that Erin does take to write so much like Zen…

Then there are those that praise the lord,

They are many here at the den,

Eileen does do this often,

But I do respect her faith,

Though sometimes I wish she would say sooner amen…

J. Allen Wilson does write rather dark,

Sometimes though he does elicit a tear,

Writing with regards to the people of the street,

If they only did know, they may more neat of him, treat…

Then there are those other sometimes-comedic writers,

Ed Kostro and Andy Turner are two, who are the blighters,

Tinka does write of humor as well, hers being more pointed,

She is still fun to read as well, think do I she needs to be anointed…

Let us not forget the phobia of the storm,

A certain special “K” twin, sitting at her window watching tornado’s form,

Thunder and lightening, they do seem to scare her the most,

Maybe once she was hit, a lightening bolt did to her roast,

I would find fear within after an experience like that,

Can’t blame her but think of it this way, Karla so dear,

If lightening were to keep hitting you, you would never get fat…

My list and this poem could go on and on,

The king and queen of Haiku,

John Zimmerman & Lori Moore, therein a conclusi0n foregone,

Ron Sketchman does pop in and out,

Carol Chapman & Hooves of Fire do write far too little,

Ted Sheridan, another nut, his brain changing like mine into peanut brittle…

To all of you and more, I do love you totally; fun you have given me,

Times when I have needed to have my spirits raised,

You were there to do so even if, like Hooves, you were unable then to graze…
