Plastered & Fractured History…

1692…

In the year of our bored, 1692,

Columbus did sail the oceans to get a clue,

He did not find what he was looking for,

He did however find a wandering Jew…

This Jew and old Chris did strike up a friendship,

Chris giving the Jew passage on his favorite ship,

It was the Santa Maria, captained by Santa’s sister, Maria…

I cannot imagine that even I,

Would see the humor in this piece of trash,

But my humor does seep back, written during a recent crash,

I had to write something special about my 16 hundred and 92 poems,

This being that one, of course, for sure and for certain, I do sigh…
