Do ya wanna Funk?

Yeah I know I am weird tonight...but havin' fun right now...ED (the better looking twin)

Do ya wanna Funk…?

God I surely do love dance music,

Especially when I am high,

I can’t type worth a damn then,

But I surely do love kickin’ music,

Unusual, I am told, for men…

But I could dance around this camper,

Rufuz just hides on my bed, away he does scamper,

Don’t tell me I should not get a buzz,

Do not put on my fun time a damper,

I don’t do it much, only on weekends,

That is the time I do for myself, pamper…

Ah, for the good old days,

Working as a door man or bartender,

After work, going out to Atlantic city on a bender,

Sleeping on the beach till noon, bathing in the ocean,

Covering myself in sun lotion,

Causing on the beach a great commotion,

No one did say you couldn’t nude sun bathe there,

I just wanted some sun all over my body so fair…

Back to work that night,

To repeat the process,

That time in my life that was fun and right,

That time in my life when I did enjoy the night,

Did not like the sun and the bright,

So many good friends have come and gone since,

A time in my life I did feel like a prince…

Well my little dog Ringo loves to dance and gets really cute and the bigger one well he just dances to his own music. Helps to get down and crazy once in awhile. Me I like to go out in the back yard and kick up my heels and scratch my back like the dog does. Try it sometime.

Ed,

Thanks for this stroll down memory lane! You really can type with this kickin' music! Very fun and clever write! Keep the music alive! Dance the night away! Thanks for sharing this exhilarating write. You still are a prince! Peace through rocking the camper (poor Rufuz!)! Have a great weekend!

Hey Ed... As long as you had a good time, that's all that counts ;-) In my youth (sheesh I can't believe I said that!!! lol) I danced competitively and so know the buzz it gives to dance the night away. Nothing stopping you from kicking up dem heels and dancing some more. I'll join you!
