Job Interview…(perhaps the reason for my recent bout with depression)

Interviews I do hate,

That is the news,

I wish I knew in advance my fate,

If I did win or if I did lose…

Got one coming up this week,

I had hoped and prayed for their call,

My prayer was answered, but therein I did feel weak,

But on the bright side, I got a day off to go to the mall…

Another driving job I hope I do get,

Please to pray or meditate or otherwise positively bet,

I need to get out of the job I do have at present,

Before my beloved Jeep continues on it’s downward descent…

She, my jeep has been good to me and mine,

She has kept us on the road and ran just fine,

But this job I do now, using her for work is crossing the line,

She is getting too much use; her inner workings are starting to whine…

you're in my prayers. good luck, and hope you are hired! i agree with what rose limongi has to say; you'd do well anywhere! the working world needs more humorous, honest people such as yourself!

all my best, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :) (praying extra hard now....)

I agree with Katy Walsvik here...any company would be the lucky beneficiary to have you!!!

Your humor, wit and honesty are assets that would benefit any company!

You will have every positive thought I can send your way - though to be fair, I'll be wrapping them in long-john's so they don't get too cold. You gotta remember, they're lil old Southern positive thoughts, don't want them to get frostbitten! LOL

Seriously, best of luck my dear friend.

Love to you and Rufuz,

~Rose~

Try to relax, dear heart... Someone once told me that the secret to interviews is to go in with the idea that YOU are interviewing THEM! The fact that you applied and got this far means you CAN overcome the jitters, or at least not let them show. It's all about acting, even it really IS just acting, as though you know that you're are exactly what they're looking for. Be friendly... smile... and above all, remember that YOU'RE WORTH IT! Now, go get 'em! katy xox. (wink) p.s. remember, Ed, confidence is NOT the same as arrogance... so be strong and confident.

Good Luck, my friend - and you will do just fine.

PS Didn't I tell you that driving your own vehicle (even if it is a Jeep) was not the way to go? When will you learn to listen to your Little Brother?!

Well..if you're half as good at your interview on Tuesday as you are on here, you'll be great...on a side note, I saw your jeep on your bio page...so cool!!! I'd love to have a tie-dye car!!! Brighten up the freeways in Ohio a bit LOL
