I am getting worried, dad has yet to make it home, I hope he is still coming back...?

Not Back Yet, by Rufuz…

Daddies still not home yet,

I can’t believe it as he sometimes drives like a jet,

I want to see his happy face you can just bet,

I want a biscuit and some dinner, if he will me, let…

I know he had the job appointment,

But even if they hired him, he could come home to me, right?

He had to also stop at the doctors to pick up some ointment,

Then he said he would get a haircut too,

Please come home soon Daddy, you cannot realize my disappointment…

Though it’s wet and foggy,

I remain as always groggy,

Sleeping the day away waiting for dad,

Every car that does pass, I think, but then again I am sad…

If you truly do like me,

Please write me and let me know,

My water bowls are getting low,

I am out of food in my dish,

I hope dad just brings home even a fish,

But better yet, as long as he does show up soon,

Now I know what he means when he talks of being a loon…

Ruffie... ooooooo, dear Ruffie... you're a heart-breaker, to be sure. But fear not, because daddy will be there always for you.

(Ed, you're like an old married couple, with even your writing styles sounding similar... how lovely that Rufuz taught you all you know... hehe) My god, you've got us all waiting for the results of this day for you... HURRY!
