HUMOR...?

Initial Stress…

The initial stress of my new job,

Must have did rob,

Me of my on the road muse,

Nothing else to the self can I say but please excuse…

I seem now to be able again to write and drive,

From this action I must say I do derive,

Much satisfaction, felt I did of late, quite deprived,

I must to catch up, write as much as I can, yes I must strive…

My job is now more calm,

I don’t feel anymore that I would like to it bomb,

With all sorts of destructive stuff, starting with napalm,

I really have to say though, that I do feel more relaxed,

Better than blowing a fuse and using on my fellow employees an axe…

Keep writing. Even when you don't feel like it, keep writing. I am still reading your poetry, even if I don't always review. BANK ON IT. :)

Everybody knows, Eddie M, that you have to work for the Feds, like in the post office, if you are going to harbor these kinds of thoughts... they wouldn't know a muse if it were 'stamped' to their foreheads! (Maybe some would... how should I know? Sigh)

Were you having a Timothy McVey (sp?) moment, perhaps? STOP THAT! Now then.... Write on..... and know that you are loved beyond comprehension! (smile) katy xox

Glad to hear that your muse is once again riding shotgun on your travels. I find on long rides by myself, I often compose things in my head, and then put them down on paper later. Ride On!
