I get by with a little help from Depends

Sorry Ringo, I had to do it...;)

I get by with a little help from Depends…

Yes it helps to have many good friends,

Better yet though when one gets old to have Depends,

They help ya in those moments of having to go,

When no bathroom is near, oh my, oh dear, ya know…?

I gotta go, feeling like a little kid again,

We start out life in diapers, ending it in Depends,

The manufacturer tries to make them seem like a senior trend,

What the hell, they also help us to keep our pants up; yep they don’t descend…

No fun it is to put them on,

Nor to have the grandkids see them,

Questions asked that can quite embarrass,

Keeps us warmer is the answer I do use,

What the hell else can we say; it covers up our ass…?

Behold, the wit and hilarious wisdom of one Eddie M, poet deluxe!

Your cleverness and hilarity, in fact, is so NON-"mainstream", one could easily be moved to swim on dry land, following your lead. (What in the hell is she talking about? You're asking me???) Sigh... This is classic Eddie M... good stuff! katy xox
