I AM DEAD…!


 


Fortunately my “sweetie” does not at the moment,


Have a computer to see this poem I to you sent,


For if she did you know what would happen,


I certainly would not be in anyway clappin’,


Actually my gums I would most likely be flappin’,


As missing would be what few teeth I have left,


Also in the not so distant future I guess I would be quite bereft…


 


If not my teeth, then that part of me I speak of occasionally,


No longer could I pee, nor would I again need Viagra,


Better for me to find a barrel, get in and ride over Niagara,


For I might just as well die then, or to contract the disease pellagra…


 


So how do you dear reader?


Like the new name for my boat,


She wanted me to name it after her,


I wanted to ask others before she found out


And grabbed me by the throat throwing me overboard while on the ocean we do float…
