Humor? Maybe, maybe not...?

Poem Artwork

A Loose Recluse…

Weekends out I go only to walk the dog,

I write and write and sometimes eat and sleep,

My poetry may be to others of a nature so cheap,

But to me it is fun and no mileage do I put on my Jeep…

I have this great picture window to my world,

Hide behind the monitor I do, no one able to see me or smell my stench,

I guess to a degree I should reside in a trench,

Why should I, my being home, to the world herald…

Both cars parked out front,

The dog on the outside leash,

They know where to find me,

If they wish to tread past the dogs teeth,

They can get their head bitten off at my door,

By this loose recluse that does behind it reside,

Screaming, leave me alone, my no trespassing sign you should abide…

Hey Ed, I've missed your poetry friend. I've been out of action a bit and I've got a lot of catch up to do. You may be a recluse but you write great poetry. Looking forward to more.
Chanti
