Daddy Sleeps…by Rufuz

Geez he sleeps more than me,

All he does on weekends is sleep,

He does awaken at noon,

Sleeping again by two,

He NEVER sees the morning,

Let alone most of the afternoon…

Is he sick, has he been bitten by a bug?

I try to eat the bees and wasps,

Don’t want them to bite my daddy,

Maybe he was attacked by an errant slug…

But for now he is awake,

Maybe now we can eat that cake,

He says he has to stay near the toilet,

Guess he really is just a bit sick,

Maybe for the weekend he can just take a break…?
