Light Rain…

Glad today I did build an ark,

Classy wood I used,

And a little bark,

Taking two of every creature,

Except for human women,

They were only put on this earth,

To drive men crazy, yes raving stark…

They did predict light showers,

Something just to water the flowers,

Lightening and thunder and wind did it accompany,

Every corner a lake, make no mistake,

Pontoons needed on my car,

Monsoons did come to NJ today,

Please let this heavy stuff go away…

After the rain, no falling temperatures,

More humid if anything, raising peoples tempers,

Least wise my truck did get cleaned,

Usually though I may be a clean freak, yes a fiend…
