humor...?

I am not in the mood…

Did ya ever sit down to write?

Finding that the time you picked is just not right.

But then you did find that your synapses just would not ignite,

This I did find while writing some stuff & trying to you delight…

Not in the mood to write nor read,

First thing in the morning I don’t even want to breed,

This morning in particular I have to give in to my feelings with all due speed,

For if I do not, I may be punished for a minor misdeed…

Back to bed, even though it is after ten,

Back to sleep some more to dream of Zen,

Won’t again pick up my pen,

Till later tonight, after I work as always and again…

Yes........and then I paint, or walk or do nature type stuff. A distraction is a good thing. :-) Took a nap today. Knew I would be doing some deep meditation later and I don't want to sleep through it.

Ed,

The mood strikes of its own accord; we never know just where the inspiration will come from. Great write! A good rest and dreams (good, wild, crazy or nightmares) can bring much inspiration, (what kind of inspiration??? ...you never know ...lol). Sleep well and sweet dreams. Peace.

First thing in the morning I don’t even want to breed

And I bet all the neighbors are real happy about that, too - have a nice nap!
