Tired…

Earlier I was quite wired,

Now all I am is totally tired,

Feel right now I am in quicksand mired,

Gladly though as yet I have not been fired…

Awake at seven, yes,

Did afterwards sleep till one,

Rufuz walked, my duty done,

Back to bed in a few for more Z’s, but only just some…

Have not over the whole weekend gone out,

Other than to work and walk Rufuz all about,

I am also caring for the neighbor’s kitties,

And writing multitudinous little poetic ditties…

Maybe a shower would help,

 Starting to feel like dried on the beach kelp,

Bet you I do stink as well,

Though no one has as of yet to me this tell…
