Chocolate covered bugs

I live where the little brats can't get to me...;)

All hallows eve doth again approach,

I won’t regards its coming reproach,

Though I do love the taste of a chocolate covered roach,

Each year they are a delicacy,

Fortunately there are enough we need not of them, poach…

This time of year can bring on fear,

Better you would be if you just did drink beer,

For then you would not feel like in headlights a deer,

When the creatures of the night do at you leer…

Scary this season may be,

Each year we do get it for free,

Ask for it we do not,

Little goblins to your door a’knocking,

Thankfully none of them do have a key…

Cute, Ed. But you can have my portion of the roaches. Remember, there are no haunted places, just haunted people.
Best regards,
Leland

I never knew there were chocolate roach poachers. But the fear comes because the elections are the following week.

with the wet weather you've had there must be an abundance of this delicacy. in south TEXAS our palm trees make for excellent spawning grounds. they are good when you grind them finely and add to your morning coffee... kind of a hazelnut flavor, but crunchier.

informative write. (smile).

Oh, boy. I heard the Brat Pack found that spare key of yours, under that old dead potted plant where you keep it - and made dozens of copies. You best stock up on those chocolate covered roaches - the big night approaches.
