Poem Artwork

Rene’ does love thread,

Or so she has everyday said,

Nothing of it does she dread,

Near it though I never tread…

She said she would kill,

If ever thread she lost,

To her it is like gold in cost,

More expensive it is than any milliondollar bank bill…

So if the day should come that I do die,

Wrapped in thread I will be, I don’t lie,

If found please do not be shy,

Peal it all off and make sure I am dead,

Then I can forever and a day be happy,

In my grave I will therein, thread-less, lie…

Ed, this one had me in stitches, the image you depicted is now sewn tight in the very fabric of my mind.

We will have a very colorful wake for you Ed. I'll come up there to where you live and bring my own old spindle bobbins and a Cheech 'n Chong care package. Tell Rene I said so. I want the red thread treatment rolled out for me! A canine loving mummy with bright pink thread wrapped below his tummy!
