No one did me invite,

They must have read my holiday trite,

Though I “might” have gone despite,

The fact that this season is for the kids,

And families that, I am sorry to say, are less than right…

I like to give presents of some kind,

This year for Rene’ I really made a find,

A collectable with the face of her dog,

Wasn’t all that much, but she did not seem to mind…

Store cards are a big thing,

For the holiday some cheer they seem to bring,

Five of my neighbors have a small reason to sing,

Now they can buy cigarettes, coffee & other assorted things…

So don’t think me a Scrooge quite total,

Ebenezer and I have something in common,

But what I am not sure, maybe as we both like the soup Ramen,

So for this holiday season again I will be quite immotile…

Ed, I read this and felt bad, here Leah and I are off the coast for a week and you are stuck in Jersey. I wish I knew what to say, but this Christmas is already said and done…All I know is you are in trouble now…cause you got me to thinking about next Christmas, and when I think that hard, I am dangerous. Have a merry 2005…and look out 2006???

No traveling? And here I thought you were a hard travelin man! Hey, for your next Christmas poem, you should write "Grandma Got Run Over by a John Deere." I think your kookiness could do it worlds of justice.

Merry Christmas to you and Rufuz.

What? You didn't get my invite? I will send some of the Polish food, via my messenger pigeons. Go outside and look up, precisely at Midnight tonight. And I hope you and Rufuz have a great Christmas Day, my friend.

Clever write, Ed. I am at least glad that you won't have to be on the road on Christmas, but being alone is not a good thing either. I hope you score an invite.
Take care,
Sherry

I doubt that, Eileen. Still . . . Strange things do happen . . . Cute, Ed.

Well Rufuz, at least your dad tries. Can't ask for more than that. Who knows, maybe someday he'll be as wise as you;-)

Blessings peace and love to all,
Eileen
