You better sit down and put that coffee down and for heavens sake don't take a drink...

Dinner Party…

 

The folks are all there,

The neighbors from across the square,

Cousins, uncles, aunts, the in-laws, only fair,

All is ready, turkey in the oven, readily prepared…

 

Even the boss & his wife,

The minister as well,

Those that did your house sell,

Food and good cheer that night was rife…

 

The dog outside, to this party he is not invited,

You just checked on him and he was sighted,

Now where did he go, he must have felt slighted,

In he did walk carrying his stash,

Need I say more, the party it did crash…!
