Never again to the person with the razor,

I swear even then when I bit her I only grazed her,

But she came at me with that sharp thing,

She wanted to, I came to find out, cut off all my fur…

She went at her job quite skillfully,

I think she was once a big bully,

She held me down and just cut it off,

My hair, my fur, my warmth, no longer, I thought, would I be woolly…

Thankfully it did grow back,

I swear I did nothing to deserve that attack,

She did at my fur, my coat for heat, hack,

Please daddy don’t take me to that place,

Or again to that lady you and mommy called Jack…

Rufuz, you poor little thing, but you must admit that even with very short fur you are absolutely handsome! We'll keep our fingers crossed for your safety!

That is RUFUZ?? That doesn't look like the Rufus I know and love; what happened? (Daddy is what happened, that's all! Sometimes daddies mean well, but they don't know what they are doing or what they are thinking of! LOL) A kind of sad but humorous write; well done! *wOOf*

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Rufuz,

Oh, poor baby. I'm really trying not to laugh...but Daddy went kinda crazy with the clippers. Know how you feel--last time I went to get my hair cut, I asked for "just a trim." Yeah, right--nearly a buzz cut! Just call me "Butch." LOL My hair is really, really short...it won't be touching my collar for a long time.

Sweet friend, tell Daddy and Mama NO MORE HAIRCUTS! You look beautiful, just the way you are.

(((((HUGS))))) and love, Karla.
