Might as well stay dry,


As opposed to getting damp,


Wrap yourself in your own cocoon,


See through, so remember to dress,


Otherwise of onlookers you will cause duress…


 


No worries bout the weather,


Though wind might create the need for a tether,


Maybe a ring of heavy plastic at the bottom,


Might keep your new “all over umbrella” together…


 


People living out in the weather would really it like,


Wonder if as well it could work well on a bike,


Could it act as a sail, no peddling is needed,


Even more so would traffic lights need to be heeded…

It is a great concept, but I wonder how it works when there is wind along with the rain? (thinking of the flying nun) It might prove to be more trouble than it is worth, but I guess that depends upon how expensive the clothes are. It might even be helpful in the wind, since so many times the gusts get up under the umbrella and tend to pull it around. It doesn't rain enough here for me to buy one,so I guess I won't be the one to rate the product for you.

I saw this and the Japanese figured it out first I see. It sure keeps you from being soaked while standing near a busy street. It males a lot of sense to me.
Like your poem that lends the perfect sidebar.

A very interesting umbrella. I have seen this kind before. They don't sell them here in Toronto Canada.
