I had this poem waiting in the wings in case Ed took up the gauntlet of challenge, guess he has not got it in him...LOL, Sorry Ed..........ed

Poem Artwork

Rebecca says go out and make some bucks,

Ed says he does get all the stinkin’ luck,

He did find a job (finally) where he could use his talent,

For speaking like a chicken, on the street he is shouting clucks…J

Wonder do I if while doing so he is attracting any ducks,

He seems to think that this job just sucks,

But his wife is adamant, he must bring home some bucks,

On the streets he has to watch out for those big trucks… J

People keep passing on the street and of his feathers they try to pluck,

His suit he does wear is anything but the model deluxe,

The most important point herein, yes I mean the crux,

Is if you saw him standing on the corner of Michigan & Chicago Ave,

You would have to stop and park your car,

As you would be over come by an attack of the yuk-yuks…J

Oh, Yeah, Mr. Wise Guy - you're just envious - again.

Just yesterday, a busload of school kids pulled up to my corner, and they loved my act. They didn't throw any money into my little bucket, but I sure got lots of baloney and peanut butter sandwich leftovers to take home to the wife - so there! She'll be eatin good for several days now.
