Things you do when your high…

#1.) Keep pushing the button on the remote & come to find out it was turned around…(but it seems as if its changing the station anyway)

#2.)Unwrapping frozen food for the microwave and put it in the trash bag instead (5 second rule there)

#3.) What the hell is the five second rule…?

#4.) What did I do just a second ago and more importantly where did that thought go…?

#5.) even more so important, what am I doing here…need another hit…!

Most Interesting. I haven't been "high" for over 17 years but it's funny how one never really forgets what it's like.

Not just high, but when the beast arrived at the gate...
A couple of things I did when mother in law came to dine:
I spoke French so that I did not need to converse
Feigned loss of memory when she found me in the bar e.g. 'Who am I? Who are you? Where am I?'

We're goin to get hi hi hi!
Chuckle chuckle

Munchies for thought:
A drinker comes up to a locked door - he smashes it down.
A pot smoker comes up to the locked door - he sits down and waits for someone to unlock it.
I don't think Mr. Ed gave the stuff to the neighbors...I bet he's still out there waiting for you to unlock it! Go check!
LOL!
Too funny!
Love and Peace~

#6 - Not answering the door when your brother arrives for a surprise visit. Brought you a big package, too, but since you wouldn't let me in, I gave it to one of your neighbors - look for the smoke coming out their window!

Been there, done that. Been there, done that. Been there, done that. Hey, how did that get on the page 3 times? And how about those amazing ideas that pop into our heads that we think we could change the world with, only to realize later that "we were just high." I never really did make any sense, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. I call it "clarity that fades to indifference." I am glad I finally quit, though doing so was a forced issue for a job I wanted. Aging makes remembering difficult enough, I don't need any help anymore.
Take care,
Sherry

Seems like a regular "stress-day". Trust me, it's not proof to be high, might just be stress...what was it we were talking about? Cute poem.

ED ---

Man, that is SCARY! Makes me glad I was a good little, Catholic, altar boy, "goodie two-shoes"! So, I never did any of that STUFF!

Mine was more like giving a couple of 'bucks' to an ole WINO, to get a bottle of some kind of 'hootch' like: a GALLON of THUNDERBIRD, or a PINT of PIKESVILLE rot-gut whiskey, or a QUART of SLOE GIN .... and then later, PUKIN' our guts up! and gittin' the 'DRY HEAVES' and tryin' to hold onto the floor when the room was SPINNIN' !!!

Later, in my early twenties, we used to make fun of the 3 or 4 guys who smoked POT at our clubhouse, mimicking their huffs n' puffs n' such! A man has to know his limitations as DIRTY HARRY used to say! WE JUST GOT DRUNK ON BEER!

By around 50-52, or so, did try the 'Peace Pipe' twice - fell asleep on the sofa, and woke up around 3 am, sayin' -- "Oh, s*it, s*it, s*it... I'm late, she's gonna KILL me!"

...but then I GOT HIGH... KUDOS - Tom.
