That other guy inside of me,

No, not that one, the other me, see

He has all the smarts in this our relationship,

I can deal with him but only to a tolerable degree…

He can pass for me, but I am better lookin’,

Though he is better at fish hookin’,

And that other one is better at cookin’,

How many alter ego’s do we have,

Just keeping’ track as I do the book keepin‘…

How long must I with them suffer,

One is an old duffer, while I remain tougher,

The fisherman in our midst likes the puffer,

Me I just want to be left alone to be a better snuffer…

Fisherman...throw your net wide and see what you get, there's many fishes out there, but some will kill you if you take a bite.
Be you.

Somewhere inside, we all have to tolerate 'that other soul' This is gritty and true writing.

Thanks,
Dan

Love is a Pretty Girl with a Cape to Share Your Dreams With by Bob Boze

A humorous look at the world and life through my eyes. Follow the author and his wife, as they travel the world …. several times over. Laugh at their funny stories, self-inflicted crazy events, strange observations, wacky zoo facts and snippets
