While daddy takes a break,
I can get in and write something great,
He says I can write what I want,
So here goes, just let me finish my croissant…

Poem Artwork

Judging by the above photo,

I could be carried away like that deer,

All the time with daddy just drinkin’ a beer,

Of that big fishy I would exhibit alot of fear…J

Daddy says he is an alligator,

I don’t care what he is, as long as he stays there,

Of that big creature I could fast become a hater,

Yeah, who would want to live in Florida,

At least they have not got any, as far as I know, bear…J

So in NJ I will just as well stay,

Where we live I am king of my domain,

I am not afraid of any animals that with I play,

Seems to me to live in Florida a doggy would have to be insane…J

Maybe no "bear" in Florida, but lots of "bare"; and that, I think, you may enjoy...or would daddy :o)

Great to see you poetizing again, Rufuz. Maybe it's meant to be that Daddy has his "lull" time and lets you fill in the void for him. You do him proud!!! Woof! Woof! boy.

Rufuz, I agree with you. One of my other brothers lives in Florida, and loves it. Me, I could never live there. He had to seal off his entire swimming pool and barbeque area - skeeters the size of that alligator, and spiders the size of New Jersey.

But come on, you like New Jersey????!!!!!! Come up to the great northwood, but don't bring your Dad, unless he's bringing some food!

Think if that alligator get your fleas...how he's gonna scratch?
If you don't have any, borrow some from your Daddy, Ha Ha Ha!!!!!

I live on a safe lake but an alligator can meander over anytime. people just don't swim in lagoons or lakes but the pools and the oceans aren't bad.

Come on down Rufuz. I'll make sure you're safe from harm. I promise.
Love,
Susan

Gotta watch them gators, Rufuz, I lived in Louisiana in 1991? A neighbor used to chain his Rottweiler to a tree near the bayou behind the apartment I lived in - I'd tell him don't do that, 'cause the gator would get him - he would say, "What gator is crazy to tangle with a full grown Rottie?" I'd tell him, any gator who's hungry enough - well, one day - yep: gator got Greaseball. :( Stay 'way from those gators, hear? Only gator I wanna see is on the plate. :)

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

I would want to visit Florida, but wouldn't want to live there--too WARM or HOT for my liking...give me some Northern COLD!! And SNOW!!

I agree--anyone who would want to call Florida home MUST be nuts!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)

I live in Texas, and I gripe about it all the time! Ask Karla! LOL
