...HAPPY EASTER, ALL...ed & Rufuz

Poem Artwork

From the Easter bunny they are everywhere laid,

Hiding amidst, under & around every grass blade,

In trees, under rocks, & in creeks are they found,

But not just out in the open are they on the ground,

That bunny is pretty sneaky, but so am I,

I use an egg-seeking basset hound…

He’s learned not to make any noise,

No baying or barking does he employ,

He has a very sensitive sniffer,

And he does so with all he can muster of poise…

But still the bunny & I do have our yearly battle,

To scare my hound, he uses a snake like rattle,

I’ve even seen him dressed up & mooing like cattle,

He does hide his eggs all too well, some I can’t find,

So weird he is, he treats some of them like chattel…

I don't mind Easter eggs, but I choose to remember Christ; that's the REAL reason why Easter is celebrated: His death on the cross, on account of our sins, and then His rising to life three days later (His Resurrection). The thought of Easter bunnies, chocolate, and Easter eggs is nice, but I would rather remember Christ. Just my feelings.

Happy Easter to you anyway, and may it be full of love, hope, peace, and above all, joy!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

Not only that wabbit is weird, but the one that thinks wabbit lay eggs like the cows...

Ed,

While Easter eggs are fine, I prefer to reflect on the true meaning of the holiday - the death and resurrection of a Savior - not trying to dampen your fun. :) Hope yours is blessed and filled with love and peace.

(((HUGS))) and love, and God bless YOU, Karla.
