Poem Artwork

Can’t see the screen,

The keys are so very small,

Damn but this is going to be weird,

Typing while all F’d up & wired…

I gotta move out into the boonies,

Neighbors stop by to cop one,

And disturb my buzz,

Listening to the nuances of Hendrix,

Remembering the good times,

When we dropped acid & did a line,

Then smoked a bone to feel even more fine…

Somebody just told me I should close my windows,

Cause they are getting high next door,

Yes, Auntie Eileen, Rufuz is outside on the upwind side,

Damn, but I gotta get this CD, okay, Ed’s losin’ it,

Time to stop typing this junk and let you read it,

If for no other reason, you get to see how much my life is a bore…;-)

Hmnnnn will maybe it is time to put aside the dope, dig up some old childhood memories and go share some fun time with those kids that are making all the noise...might break the boredom and they have a lot to teach us believe it or not.
