Just invite the unemployment Compensation people to dinner
When they show up and say wheres dinner, just tell them be patient it will only take one more week :)

Sorry for your problem with the government
it's not any better here in Canada
Believe me I know, being on disability I have to depend on the government

AMEN MY FRIEND - AMEN!

Years ago, shortly after one of my niece's died young - her sisters found a large fed check she had just received days before - uncashed because she was sick -

After fighting with the guvmint for several YEARS for disability, a RETRO-ACTIVE payment was issued - and guess what? They couldn't Legally cash it to pay for her Funeral expenses!

RAT BASTARDS ALL ... TK.

Hi Ed, I deal with with employees unemployment issues everyday, and it is worse today than it ever was! Because so many unemployment claims have been filed, the unemployment office seems to have taken on dirty tactics to delay or stop unemployment payments, at their choosing, and they are not nice about it. It's horrible, because people have earned their unemployment compensation! Hang in there... keep at them... they will send it....

I was going to say quite a bit about this, but I'm still pressing one for English. Maybe if you tell them you don't really need the money, they'll get it to you quicker. My Dad always said, "The poor have poor ways," and I'll add that they got to be much poorer ways when depending on the government.....Jerry
