The Monkees were there,

As the Beatles were,

The Animals did also attend,

Steppenwolf an all time favorite,

Of those we call our K-9 friends…

Bow Wow Wow & Dogstar.

Two more great bands about par,

Los Lobos & Iron Butterfly,

Even did they allow a group called the Stray Cats…

As well they did welcome Eddie Rabbit,

And a stiff horse called the Stone Pony,

All were given their chances,

Flying around the audiences heads were bats,

And running at their feet were oft seen rats…

A Flock of Seagulls did a rousing number,

Band of Horses & the Birds played for their dues,

A Hot Tuna did play a heated round of blues,

Hootie & the Blowfish did play underwater,

And a Def Leopard couldn’t not hear himself,

Make a mockery of music, he had not a clue…
