Even a monkey, like me, could do this job...

Poem Artwork

I got all dressed up, as you can plainly see,

That I think for a job is THE key,

Don’t ya think I look pretty damn good, me,

Seems though I must have done something wrong,

For the whole office once they did of me see,

Ran away and called the police, & even they did flee…

A really great job I may have found,

They seem to think my mind is quite sound,

Though little do they know my mind is gone,

Turned into mush, fell out on the ground…

So what if I didn’t get at this one hired,

Least they didn’t hire me then afterward let me get fired,

I think a chimp would do their job really quite well,

I mean all I had to do was of bridges sell…

Wait a minute - I thought you were now a Seagull. How the heck did you shape shift into a monkey, so fast?

PS: Ma says you look real good in a suit, especially when you wear pants with it.

I should give this to the next employer that I interview with... nice comedic spin on a common subject these days, trying to find work.
