If you can buy booze,

And drink your fill,

I certainly can smoke a doob,

And a few more brain cells lose…

 

What the hell does it matter,

All I do is sit home and on this thing chatter,

And listen to outside noisy clatter,

Why not get high & eat pancake batter…

 

Only once in a very great while,

Do I smoke a bone & enjoy a buzz,

Hey on my face it does put a smile,

I do what I can, I do what I like,

Leave me alone while I do best what I does…J

Ed, "doob" and "bone" I'm going to have to look up because I can guess but I have never heard of them and I don't know what they are, but never mind all that...I like your writing. This is an exotic detour in poetry.

You've really got Ma in a tizzy now. First, she tells me you're now a Seagull, then she says you've morphed into a Monkey, and now you're Sponge Bob Square Pants??!! Nice Pants, though.

PS: I'm runnin out of booze. Perhaps you can send me some, and Ma, too, of course. You're makin her drink more than usual these days.
