Poem Artwork

He really did it up right done,

Comin’ out ain’t gonna be fun,

That laptop wasn’t too small,

I mean so many times before,

He ate a hundred of them little tennis balls,

And out they came, it wasn’t pretty, but made a nice popping sound…

I guess he done got the snacks,

The balls started to taste altogether like wax,

The cabinet will break down in his system,

I am more worried bout the electronics,

As every so often he jumps off the floor,

Must be shocks from the battery,

Making it look like manic attacks…

His hair is standing on end,

Yeah well maybe that was a warning,

They’ve been like that since yesterday morning,

Gotta follow him around with an extension cord,

Though, ya think, if I unplug him,

I might be able to get back, at least, the mother board…?

Fictional, but really cute and funny! My son-in-law's dog once ate a ball, the kind that has a long piece of elastic on it, like a long rubber band. First trip to the doggy-bathroom in the yard, the elastic came out but the ball stayed in. One problem--the ball was still attached. Somebody, pull that quick!!!

"Follow him around with a Pooper Scooper!"

Damn it, Ronald already said that, as did Old Cousin TomKat and Dear old Ma.

BETTER 'STORY' THAN 'THE GRAPE APE DID IT' ...

Well that's one way to get rid of the spam!
Nothing like having a little canine whose on-line cuisine is out of control... unlike this poem which shows a high degree of control, and over-the-top humour. You've got mail!

Follow him around with a Pooper Scooper. Now that's what I call a square meal! I know how you could tell that he swallowed it–it is washboard stomach.

You are right–dogs and kids will eat anything.
