The “unofficial” end of summer for us,
Everybody leaving by car & bus,
The kids don’t want to go, they fuss,
The drivers at each other do cuss…
It’s back to school for the kids soon,
For the parents that is a happy boon,
Homes at the shore closed up for season,
No longer needed is the reason…
The weather held out for most of the holiday weekend,
Except for this last day, dark & cloudy out there, no sun, the end…
