            An early riser,

 As can be told by the roosters,

            That live nearby.

 They must have a fear of me by now,

 But I only wish to “wind their tic-toc’s.

 Where do you suppose they get their clocks?

 They always seem to be an hour early,

    And that I cannot tolerate…

               *NOT*

 A person who enjoys being late,

 If I am told a time to be someplace,

 I am there waiting for the others to show & place,

 I find it rude to be late, even just a few,

 For during that time, someone is waiting for you!

                *NOT*

       One to do yard work,

Cutting grass & raking I leave to the kids,

That enjoy making money after they bid,

I find it nice to watch them work,

 Leaving me time to do my own housework.

               *NOT*

One to do laundry, although I must,

For eventually, all my clothes get filled with dust,

But if I could pay someone to do it, I swear,

Would be such a happy day for me to pay!

                *NOT*

One to clean up messes, by the dog or me,

If I didn’t make the mess in the first place,

Cleaning would not be the race,

When company is coming over to my place.

                 *NOT*                                                    

 So hot in bed, as I rarely accomplish much,

 As I am in bed solitarily and such…

 The only good from bed, I get, is sleep & that I do the best!
