Rufuz…Rain…& Me…

Can here it hit the roof of the camper,

Bringing with it colder air,

So, I must scamper,

To insulate as best as possible,

Or start to wear heavier clothes,

Just to keep myself pampered.

Some day will own a house again,

Triple insulated and warm,

All to keep out & stay dry, from the cold rain,

Insulation in this beast,

Helps to a small degree, at least,

But to really stay warm & dry,

We must stay inside,

But Rufuz always asks why.

Why, dad, must I stay inside?

I got my own fur coat,

And I have no problem,

With walking thru the rain created moat,

But dad likes to stay dry & warm,

Especially my feet,

They seem to get colder as I get older!

But Rufuz, you don’t like the rain coming down,

It seems to make you upset

And I can see almost a frown,

As when you come back in,

You look as if you got drowned.

So Rufuz my good friend & puppy extraordinaire,

In we will stay till we have to go out,

Prior to dad leaving for work,

Then you can go and do your thing,

To your cute little hearts content,

But dad will stand under the roof,

Of the pavilion, while you Ruf,

Goes to take care of your business,

No Rufuz I don’t want proof,

That you went pee and poop,

Just please lets go home so get warm I can,

And let me also get to go the can…

(Ed & Rufuz)

this is too cute, ed; hope you and rufuz are staying warm until the sun comes out again! (hey, ed, at least you have rufuz to keep you warm on those cold nights; me all i have is my stuffed animals, and it isn't the same! LOL) boy, i sure do need a cute and cuddly furry kittycat to snuggle up to me; but the place i live at doesn't allow animals of the real type, so i guess i will have to satisfy myself with my stuffed ones! LOL) (((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :D

Loved this one, Ed. My two mutts have been dragging me through tons of snowdrifts the last two days. They especially love to knock me down - and pounce on me with their icy paws!
