Not as humorous as it may sound, but still a "sickening" kind of humor, I suppose to some...ed

TASTED BETTER COMING BACK UP…

Had meatloaf last night for dinner,

At a local eating establishment,

I have frequented before,

But last night was different,

The food wasn’t something I would ask for more.

Sent my stomach into spasms of all sorts,

I wished for sickness to come on,

And when it did, I felt relief,

Never again, meatloaf in that place.

It actually tasted better coming back up,

I realize that maybe kind of rash,

Or it may make one sick,

Just the thought,

The potatoes of the variety mashed,

Were okay, but the meat was the culprit,

I hope it doesn’t bother Rufuz in the same way,

As he got the leftovers, when dad could not finish.

Sorry for the visual here,

But just had to write something,

As I could not go right back to bed,

After being sick as the proverbial dog,

But not Rufuz, he has a stomach made of steel,

Like it was for all of us when we were younger,

Yes that is what I said,

When we WERE younger,

So live and learn, no more meatloaf of that variety,

It was a new item on their menu,

But maybe they need to lose it,

Before others find out the hard way,

What it was, here, that I say…

A good cautious write. Because of the madcows disease, I'm more hesitant when it comes to eating beef now.

However, there is a technique in making tasty meatloaf and hamburgers; besides the usual ingredients I also mix in a package of "Lipton's Onion Soup Mix" - this makes the burgers and the meatloaf all the more tastier and will not taste flat.

Hope you and Rufuz are feeling better already.
